Privacy Policy

Booking asks for a name and a phone number so a chair can be held under your name. This page lists everything else the site records, why it exists, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

ONYX Barbershop is a barbershop at 135 NE 1st Ave, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009, operated by INTEGRITY EAGLE LLC. Anything on this page can be settled over the phone: (954) 643-1357, every day from 10 AM to 8 PM.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not hand it to third parties for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The only companies that touch your data are the service providers listed further down, and they handle it on our instruction to run the shop.

What the booking form collects

First name, last name and phone number. That is the whole form. There is no field for an email address and no card details, because you pay at the counter.

We use it to hold your slot, to text you about the appointment (see the SMS Terms), to call you if something changes, and to keep the notes your barber writes down so the next cut starts from the last one.

Photos you send to the AI Stylist

If you upload a photo to the AI Stylist, it is used to produce your result and to brief your barber if you go on to book. We do not publish it, and we do not put it in advertising or on social media without asking you first.

Reading the photo is not done by hand. It is sent to the service that runs the tool for us and processed there by an AI model, together with the first name and phone number you enter on that page, and it is stored with your session so the result can be shown back to you. That is the one place where something you send us leaves our own systems, and it happens only for the photos you choose to upload. If you would rather that did not happen, skip the tool and show the photo to your barber in the chair. The answer is the same one, and it comes from a person.

Analytics

This site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics. It records which pages were opened, roughly where the visit came from based on IP address, the device and browser, and which buttons got tapped: calls, booking steps, completed bookings. When we are running ads, the same container loads measurement tags from Google Ads and Meta so we can tell whether an ad led to a real booking. Page and button data carries neither your name nor your phone number.

Matching a booking back to an ad

There is one exception to the line above. To let Google and Meta count a booking against the ad that earned it, we send them an irreversible fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of your first name, last name and phone number. The readable values are never sent. Neither company can read a hash back into a name or a number; it is only ever compared against a fingerprint they already hold, so they can tell us which ads led to bookings.

This happens at two moments and no others. The first is when a booking is confirmed: the fingerprint goes out from your browser and, separately, from our booking system, so the booking is counted once even if a blocker stops the browser. The second applies only if you arrived from one of our ads: after the appointment has taken place, our booking system reports that visit and the price of the service, with the same fingerprint. Nothing is sent this way while you browse.

Along with the fingerprint, our booking system passes the ad-click identifier your browser stored when you arrived and, for the booking itself, the IP address and browser type it was sent from. That is what lets the count work when a phone number alone does not match. We delete the IP address and browser type from our own records after 8 days.

We do not upload our client list to Google or Meta, and we do not use your phone number to pick who sees our ads.

Where you came from

When you arrive from an ad, a search result or a link, your browser stores the campaign parameters that came with it (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid), the page you landed on and the site that referred you. It sits in your browser’s local storage for 90 days and then expires on its own. If you book within that window, the record travels with the booking so we know which channel paid for itself. Clearing your browser data deletes it immediately.

Cookies and local storage

The site itself sets no cookies. The Google and Meta tags set their own to tell one visit from the next, to count returning visitors and to connect a booking to an ad click. Local storage holds the attribution record described above. Blocking cookies in your browser does not break booking; the form works either way.

Who processes data for us

Provider What they get
Our own booking system, on our own domain Name, phone, appointment history, barber notes, attribution record
Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) Site usage and ad measurement. On a confirmed booking and, if you came from an ad, after your visit: a hashed form of your name and phone number and the ad-click identifier — never the readable values
Meta Ad measurement while we are running ads. On a confirmed booking and, if you came from an ad, after your visit: the same hashed form, the ad-click identifier, and for the booking the IP address and browser type it was sent from — never the readable name or number
Our SMS provider Your phone number and the text of the message, so it can be delivered
The service that runs the AI Stylist, and the AI model behind it Only if you use that tool: the photo you upload, your first name and your phone number, kept with the session that produced your result

How long we keep it

  • Your client record. Kept while you are a client of the shop, so the notes are there next visit. Deleted whenever you ask.
  • The attribution record. 90 days in your own browser, then gone.
  • IP address and browser type of a booking. 8 days in our booking system, then erased.
  • Analytics. Held by Google under the retention setting on our Analytics property.

Text messages

Every detail about what we text, how often and how to stop it is on the SMS Terms page. The short version: reply STOP to any message and the texts end.

What you can ask us to do

  • See what we hold. Call (954) 643-1357 or come by the shop and we will read your record back to you.
  • Delete it. Same call, and the record comes out of the booking system. Appointments already on the books get canceled with it, so tell us if you want to keep one.
  • Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any message from us.
  • Stop the analytics. Use your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s own opt-out. Nothing on this site stops working when you do.

Kids in the chair

We cut children’s hair when a parent or guardian brings them in, and the booking is made by the adult, under the adult’s name and phone number. We do not collect data about the child beyond what the barber writes down about the cut itself, and we do not take bookings directly from children.

Changes to this page

When what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves. If a change affects how we use a phone number you already gave us, we will say so before it takes effect.
