A three-star review is the one nobody here has left

Three stars is the rating a haircut gets when it was fine. Nothing to complain about, nothing to come back for. Of the 181 people who’ve rated us, none has left three stars, and none has left four.

So the scale has weight at the top and a short floor at the bottom, with the middle empty. The work either lands or it misses. When it missed, the people it happened to said so in one star. Those five are further down this page, with the date, the substance and what changed after each.

18 of them, word for word

Grouped by what the review is actually about. Authors' names are left off and the dates are the dates on the profile. The wording is untouched: where a quote runs shorter than the review, it’s trimmed at the ends and never in the middle.

They asked for something specific and got it

“She knew exactly how I wanted it without me saying a word.”

Google review, June 2026

“The haircut came out exactly how I wanted, which is not always easy to get.”

Google review, April 2026

“Anastasia is very professional, she understood right away what I was going for and executed it perfectly.”

Google review, April 2026

“She was able to interpret what I wanted just from a photo and executed the haircut perfectly!”

Google review, April 2026

It still sat right after the wash at home

“She also gave me some helpful tips on how to style my hair at home.”

Google review, April 2026

“And the best part is, he washed his hair the next day, and it looked perfect, without any complicated styling. Usually, after barbershops, everything only looks good on the day of the haircut, and then everything takes on a life of its own, but here the shape held perfectly.”

Google review, March 2026

Curly, coarse, long: cut for the way it grows

“It’s clear the stylist really understands how hair works.”

Google review, March 2026

“I don’t look like broccoli anymore, the first barbershop in Miami that knows how to cut curly hair is awesome”

Google review, March 2026

“I’ve been searching for a long time, and we finally have excellent service and quality. I really liked everything, especially how they did my long haircut.”

Google review, May 2026

The beard as its own piece of work

“She gave me a great haircut and beard, everything was done professionally and efficiently.”

Google review, March 2026

“Anastasia was my barber and she gave me one of the best haircuts and shaves I’ve ever had.”

Google review, June 2026

“my booking was only down for a haircut, missing the beard trim but Anastasia and the team graciously accommodated me despite their tight schedule”

Google review, June 2026

The search stopped here

“Was finally able to find a place that cuts hair rather than just a cheap, quick clipper cut.”

Google review, April 2026

“I have been looking for professionals like this for a long time. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, and everything was done at the highest level.”

Google review, July 2026

“This is actually the first time I’ve experienced service like this in SoFlo. Definitely my only barbershop from now on.”

Google review, February 2026

“I’ve been to barbershops in different countries, so I have a good understanding of the level of service and quality of work. Everything here is top-notch.”

Google review, March 2026

The kid first, then the rest of the family

“The barber really took the time to listen to what my son wanted.”

Google review, February 2026

“My whole family comes here and we always leave with great results.”

five low ratings, and what each one changed

five people out of 181 rated us below five stars. Each of them is below with the date, the rating, the substance of the complaint and the answer. The full text of every review stays on Google, where you can read it in the original. Some of them make claims about specific people, and our own site is the wrong place to republish that. The substance below is put in our own words rather than quoted, and it hasn’t been softened on the way. Read all 181 on Google.

  1. 1 star

    What it was about

The cut looked right in the chair and fell apart after the first wash at home.

    What we did

Fair, and it is the failure we take most seriously: a cut that only works when a barber styles it is a bad cut. A correction was offered at the time. Every visit now ends with the styling shown to you, product, amount and motion, so the same finish is yours at your own sink.

  2. 2 stars

    What it was about

Three things at once: cut far shorter than asked for, hygiene at the chair that did not look right, and a bill that came as a surprise.

    What we did

Length is the one thing that cannot be given back, so it gets settled before the clippers now: what comes off, from where, and what stays. On hygiene there is nothing to explain away, only a standard that is not negotiable: gloves and blades change with the client. Clean is the word that comes up most often in the rest of our reviews, which is exactly why this one is worth keeping in view. And the bill should never be a surprise: every price sits on this site, with the length of the slot next to it, before you book.

  3. 1 star

    What it was about

    One star, no text left.

    What we did

Nothing to work with, and we are not going to invent a story around it. It stays in the count.

  4. 1 star

    What it was about

Requests ignored, and the cut delivered was the barber decision rather than the one asked for.

    What we did

This is the exact failure the shop is built against. A consult now starts with what your last barber got wrong, a photo counts as an instruction, and the length is agreed out loud before anything comes off.

  5. 1 star

    What it was about

An unqualified technician, and a price that did not match the work.

    What we did

The first half is the one that matters, and it is about people rather than policy. Both barbers cutting here today have fifteen and ten years behind the chair, and you book one of them by name. If the work in your chair did not read that way, say so before you leave or call the same day, and we book the time to make it right.

All five are dated between March 1, 2026 and May 30, 2026, the shop’s opening stretch. A different roster was in the chairs then. Measured on August 29, 2026, that’s three months since the last rating below five stars, with five-star reviews arriving through the whole window.

How this page is put together

Where do these reviews come from?

Every one of them is a Google review left on our profile, exported in full on August 29, 2026. What you read here is quoted word for word. Some are trimmed at the start or the end, none are edited in the middle, and none are stitched together from separate sentences. Authors' names are left off, the dates are the dates Google has, and the ratings below five stay on the page with everything else.

Why is the middle of the scale empty?

Three stars is what a haircut gets when it was fine. Of 181 reviews, 176 are five stars. The four-star row sits at 0 and the three-star row at 0. The five at the bottom are the visits where something went wrong. The scale has a top and a floor, and the floor is readable on this page.

Do you answer the low ratings?

Not well enough on Google: four of the five still have no reply under them there. That's a failure of habit, not a policy, and it's being fixed. On this page all five are answered in full, which is more room than a reply line gives you. four of them say what changed afterwards. The last one had no text to work with.

What happens if I don't like the result?

Say so before you leave, or call the same day, and we book the time to correct it. That has happened before, and one of the five entries on this page records it. A written policy with a number of days in it doesn't exist yet. What you're reading here is the practice as it stands today.

Book the visit and judge it for yourself

Pick a barber by name and a time that's yours. Tell him up front what the last cut got wrong, and you'll settle the length out loud before the clippers come out.

The barber you book by name is the barber in the chair.
